How you could save big on your next trip?

Since me and my family are from Costa Rica, we have talked up Condo Rentals in Jaco vacation rentals quite a lot in the past. We believe they are an outstanding value, providing more room and amenities than a typical hotel. Condo Rentals in Jaco can be found in all corners of this Beach of the Central Pacific, we are aware of that… They come in all shapes and sizes, from condo rentals to cozy cabins, sprawling chalets to apartments towers.

Fully equipped kitchens allow you to cook some or all of your meals, thus saving even more money. Larger spaces enable groups to travel together and split the lodging costs no matter if they are travel bagpackers or local ticos, offering more affordable per-night rates overall than hotels. After pricing out rentals versus hotels, you may find the savings from rentals are worth making your own bed on vacation, right?

Want to see just how much you can save with a vacation rental? Have you ever take into account some Condo Rentals in Jaco? Take a look at the following put-to-the-test experiments, where I compare rentals in five popular Best in Jaco accommodations and local hotels.

Each trip is based on four adults traveling together in May, splitting the cost four ways. The results (and some savings in particular) are eye-opening.

Condo Rentals in Jaco: Diamante del Sol

I found a 2 ample suites Condo Rentals in Jaco Beach. For $270 per night, you get:

  • 2 ample suites, the master with a king size bed and the second with a queen size bed

  • Large terrace that overviews the pool with nice furnishings

  • Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances

  • AC in all rooms

  • Washer and dryer

  • TV with DVD and VCR

The total cost for a week stay comes to $1,620. Split four ways, the condo rental works out to $405 per person (or $67,50 per person per day). That’s quite a bargain.

I then priced a deluxe hotel room with two queen beds, also on Jaco Beach for $302 per night.

The total price for the hotel room over six nights works out to $1,812, or $453 per person. Broken out per day, the per-person cost is approximately $77.

In this case, the hotel costs $48 more per person and $10 per day than the vacation rental, and comes with significantly fewer amenities. You’ll also have to account for having more restaurant meals, and paying for laundry. However, you will get daily cleaning service and access to the resort’s many facilities in some cases aswell. Which would you choose?

Condo Rentals in Jaco or/and an apartment with two bathrooms also add extra convenience. As a traveler who likes to have some downtime after exploring, I love that the apartment has two bedrooms—convenient if one wants to take a nap or rest while others may still have energy to burn.

Condo Rentals in Jaco are ideal for family vacations, as you’ll have more space for the kids to relax, as well as extra amenities such as a pool to make downtime more entertaining.

Although hotels do offer daily breakfast, I’m still a stickler for space in Condo Rentals in Jaco. When comparing amenities side by side, I would pay the slightly more expensive price to get the three bedrooms, the full kitchen, and other perks—and enjoy my morning coffee in the enclosed balcony, even if I did have to pay for and brew it myself.

As travelers, we really enjoy the extra space, the ability to wake up and have coffee and breakfast while still in pajamas, and the cost-saving possibility of cooking some meals at “home.”

Costa Rica vacations? mmm….

You get so caught up with all the possibilities that you try to schedule every second of the day to make the most of your time out of the office.
Costa Rica is home to more than 5% of the world biodiversity, even though it’s only about the size of West Virginia. It is one of the only places in the world where beaches, rainforests, oceans, mountains and other micro-ecosystems are all within close proximity to each other.

Wondering about Costa Rica vacations?

This level of diversity in the landscape, of course, has created the perfect home for thousands of exotic animals and plants. Despite the small landmass, they are actually still finding new species all the time, whether it’s in the deep rainforests or in the many waterways.
More than one forth of Costa Rica vacations’ land is dedicated to national parks, reserves, and wildlife refuges. All in all, there are more than 100 different protected areas where you can see for yourself exactly how amazing this area is.

The surfing in Costa Rica is nothing short of amazing. There’s a pretty good community of surfers here and they all come out to enjoy the pacific waves all along the coast, starting in Jaco Beach.

Of course, surfing isn’t the only water sport that attracts visitors from all over the world. Some of the best scuba diving can be had right off the east coast of Costa Rica. There are a lot of incredible coral reefs just off the shores, and there are plenty of places in the nearby towns that will rent gear for good prices and some that even offer lessons to anyone who is just trying the sport.
